ORDERING ON OUR WEBSITE

The preferred way to place an order with us is using this website.
You can add the items you wish to purchase to your electronic shopping
cart, then proceed to checkout.
Once you have successfully placed an online order, you will see a
confirmation (thank you) page and also receive an email confirmation
from us. Please check your spam, junk, or promotion folders if you do
not see the email right away. If you are having trouble confirming your
order, please contact us at orders@mymodefa.com to confirm if the order went through


ORDERING OVER THE PHONE

For anyone who is having difficult with the process of placing an
order on our website, for any reason, we are happy to accept your order

ORDERING BY MAIL

In special limited circumstances, we may offer the option to place
an order with us via mail. For example, we work with several states to offer the option of mail orders for inmates in correctional facilities.

International Customers Please Note:
You will need to use PayPal or Shop Pay to process your order (Simply
select PayPal or Shop Pay during checkout). If you try processing your
order directly with your credit/debit card, please be aware that the
transaction may be declined (immediately or after the order is placed)
due to many international banks not supporting the AVS anti-fraud
settings we use in the U.S. Banks within Canada and England may be more
likely to participate in AVS.

If your order was completed successfully, you will see a 'thank you' confirmation page with your order number, and you will also receive an email from us confirming your order. Please be sure to check your spam, junk or promotion folders for our email.

YES! Make sure to enter the recipient's shipping address at checkout. You can also add a gift message in the notes section of the order; if we see a gift message, we will make sure your order has a gift receipt instead of a normal receipt, so that prices are not shown.

Please be aware that gifts should NOT be sent to recipients outside the USA without their knowledge. We also do not recommend sending gifts to inmates at correctional facilities without facility approval.

We do routinely accept orders for inmates at correctional facilities within the USA. However, please be aware the every facilities has its own policies and procedures, and we can not guarantee that the prison will accept the items you are sending. Some facilities only accept packages from specific vendors. Please contact the prison authority or chaplain for information and policies of the facility.

TEXAS: We regularly ship prayer rugs to inmates in TDCJ facilities. Please make sure you have approval and are aware of their policies. Contact us with questions or if the inmate would like to be sent a catalog and order form.

CALIFORNIA: We are an approved vendor for the CDCR, but inmates and their representatives CAN NOT place an order on our website. You must use a special order form. Please contact us for more information.

PENNSYLVANIA: We are an approved vendor for the Pennsylvania DOC, but inmates and their representatives CAN NOT place an order on our website. You must use a special order form. Please contact us for more information.

If you are experiencing a problem with using your credit card on our site there are a few things to be aware of:

  • Ensure you have the proper funds in your bank to cover the cost of your order.
  • Modefa uses anti-fraud measures to protect our customers and the
    population in general. This means that if the billing information (name, address, card security code, etc) that you provide us do not match what is on file with your financial institution, your card will be declined.

Here are some tips to avoid problems:

  • Please make sure that you are providing this information exactly as your bank knows it.
  • Make sure your bank has on file your correct information, and update them when you move. Even small variations such as one number wrong in the zip code can cause a problem.
  • If you need your order shipped to a separate location from your billing address, then uncheck the box that appears under your billing address: "Ship items to the above billing address."
  • As stated above in the payment options, many international financial institutions do not support the AVS anti-fraud settings we use. This may cause your card to be declined for international customers since we are not able to verify the information you have
    provided.
  • If you continue to have problems which seem to be unexplained, try using a different payment method instead, contact your bank.

Please be aware that if you make several attempts to make payment and your card is declined, your financial institution may put a hold on
your account for that amount for EACH attempt you make. For example, if your order totals $100, and you unsuccessfully try to charge your credit card 3 times, your bank may put three separate holds on your account, each in the amount of $100. This has nothing to do with Modefa, and if your card is declined then these holds will eventually disappear without any charge. Please contact your financial institution for information about their specific policies and procedures.

We do our best to make sure you receive exactly what you ordered,
including doubling checking and doing item counts before items are
packed for shipment. Because of this, we have an extremely low incidence of order errors. However, as humans we can sometimes make mistakes.

Below are some frequently asked questions about Modefa and our products

We offer a wide range of prayer rugs in varying thicknesses. Our chenille and woven prayer mats are often very thin, and velvet prayer rugs are thicker. To best help customers compare the thickness levels between our prayer rugs, we have developed a Prayer Rug Thickness scale between 1 to 10, with 1 being the thinnest (i.e. nylon travel mat), and 10 being the thickest (i.e. our foam prayer rugs). You can use the sort filters to select the thickness level you are looking for. Please note this is meant to be used as a general guide for purpose of comparison, and we do our best to accurately represent our prayer rugs including with dimenions, size, and weight.

The vast majority of our products are made in Turkey, including all of our prayer rugs, women's clothing, and hijabs.

Due to lack of availability in Turkey, some of our products are made in other countries, which should be noted in the description.

At Modefa, we offer wholesale to select vendors. Vendors must apply
and be approved in order to be eligible to place wholesale orders with
us, and must also agree to certain terms and conditions. To apply,
