Due to inclement weather in the Dallas area as well as across the United States, we expect there to be some shipping delays.
UPDATE SATURDAY FEBRUARY 20: Our operations have pretty much returned to NORMAL. Most orders were shipped out yesterday. However, there will still be delays in the area with carriers due to the backlog.
OUR SHOWROOOM in Richardson, Texas is still CLOSED as repairs and cleanup continue.
UPDATE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18: We have been able to get caught up on orders, however carriers have still NOT picked up. We were able to jump through hoops to get some packages dropped off at USPS... All of our carriers (UPS, USPS, and DHL) had confirmed they would be coming today, but none were able to show up. So UPS and DHL packages are still waiting for pickup. Inshallah we are hoping they will pick up Friday.
Our showroom experienced a burst pipe on Tuesday (no damage to warehouse inventory, alhamdulilah), so it will be closed through Friday at least. We are hoping for ceiling repairs and clean-up to happen on Friday so we can be open over the weekend inshallah.
UPDATE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16: We are dealing with extremely cold temperatures, frequent prolonged power outages, and poor road conditions. Local carriers such as USPS and UPS are NOT operating at this time. We are working to prepare orders when possible, but due to a second storm expected Tuesday night and Wednesday, we do not expect carrier pickups Wednesday either. This will add delays; orders may not ship until Friday or Monday.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14:
The Dallas area is currently experiencing a rare winter storm, expected to make travel in the area unsafe at least Sunday and Monday, and possibly longer as temperatures remain below freezing. Dallas is not properly equipped to handle such weather (poor de-icing and plowing), and many Texas drivers are not accustomed to driving on ice and snow. The governor has asked people to remain at home unless it is an emergency.
Our top priority is the safety of our staff. Our store and warehouse will be closed Sunday afternoon, and possibly Monday as well. This will likely cause delays in orders getting shipped out. While Monday is already a postal holiday due to President's Day, we had previously expected to still be able to prepare shipments Monday and have them picked up on Tuesday. But the storm will likely delay our ability to prepare customers orders. It is therefore possible that your order might not be shipped until later in the week. We will be working as quickly as possible to ship orders out as soon as possible.
After packages leave our warehouse, there is also potential for continued delays as the storm may impact local postal operations. In addition, since most of the country is experiencing this storm as well, there may be further delays along the way and in your local area.
We ask for understanding and patience at this time. We will not be able to guarantee any delivery dates, including for next day delivery. Customers that pay for expedited shipping will have their orders prioritized in the order they were received, but are still not guaranteed to be shipped out or received on a specific date.
